Mary Durando, Gunther van Loon and Lesley Young will examine real cases with the participants to
- determine which horses are most likely real (future) patients and which ones do not need further work up per se based on the clinical exam;
- diagnose the cause of a murmur and define the status of compensation / decompensation by performing ultrasound;
- differentiate physiological arrhythmias from pathological ones after the clinical exam and ECG identifying to select the patients that are at risk or need anti-arrhythmic therapy.
We encourage you to bring along your own equipment! We can take up to 21 participants only.
