Mary Durando, Gunther van Loon and Lesley Young will examine real cases with the participants to

  1. determine which horses are most likely real (future) patients and which ones do not need further work up per se based on the clinical exam;
  2. diagnose the cause of a murmur and define the status of compensation / decompensation by performing ultrasound;
  3. differentiate physiological arrhythmias from pathological ones after the clinical exam and ECG identifying to select the patients that are at risk or need anti-arrhythmic therapy.

We encourage you to bring along your own equipment! We can take up to 21 participants only.
